Hello, hello! It’s time for another Friday Favorites. Last week’s prompt over at Something of the Book was “Favorite Side Characters,” and I missed it! Side characters are always my favorite, so I’m going to go ahead and just do it this week.
I actually did this list last year, but I’ve read over 100 books since then and there are newbies to add!
Here are my top 5 favorite side characters:
Magnus Bane/Alec Lightwood
The Shadowhunter Chronicles
Come on, y’all know my number one will never change. Also, I can’t separate them even for a list… I love my precious Malec! I guess they’re not really side characters now that they have their own series, but they were for over a decade.

Like Cassian, Grey (or Scary Grey as Harper in A Curse So Dark and Lonely calls him) is a fierce soldier. However, he’s also kind and caring. The next book is about him! My ARC of A Heart So Fierce and Broken has been staring at me for a couple weeks, and I NEED to get into it!
It’s set to release in January 2020.
