TBR Tuesday: July 2021

By: Cait Marie

Last month… I read every day, but I kept switching back and fourth between a few lengthy books. So, I only finished two that were actually proofread jobs. That being said, I’ve already finished two this month and am in a super reading mood! Yay no more slump!

Here’s what I am hoping to read or finish this month (outside of proofread jobs, 6 of which I have to do in July)…

A Court of Silver Flames – Sarah J. Maas

I’m almost 80% done with this one and am fully obsessed. Absolutely exceeded expectations. I adore Nessian with every fiber of my being. Always have, always will.

Kate in Waiting – Becky Albertalli

Still working on this one simply because I don’t have much time to read physical books, but I am determined to finish it this way and not via audio! It’s so, so good. I’m about halfway done.

Evermore Academy: Summer – Audrey Grey

I started this ARC months ago, but I realized I needed to re-read the end of the previous book because I couldn’t quite remember some details. Then, I was so focused on my own release that my brain couldn’t handle a new fantasy. I’m really excited for the end of this amazing series though!

Counting Down with You – Tashie Bhuiyan

I recently received an ARC of this (though, it is now available) to review for YABC, and it sounds so good! I can’t wait to jump in.

The Rejected King – Kortney Keisel

I got the second book to review for YABC, and even though they can be read as standalones, I want to start from the beginning.

The Promised Prince – Kortney Keisel

Not going to lie, I requested this to review just because of the cover and title. I mean, look how gorgeous it is!! The blurb also sounds right up my alley, and it has a lot of great reviews.

Lord of Shadows – Cassandra Clare

At this point, I feel like I always have at least one Shadowhunter book going. I’m listening to this audio and remembering why the Blackthorns are my favorite… Besides Malec, of course.

Queen of Air and Darkness – Cassandra Clare

Confession time. I’ve never finished this. It was too heartbreaking, and then I heard a spoiler that made it hard to continue. But it’s time!

What are you hoping to read this month? Let me know below!
