TBR Tuesday: June 2021

By: Cait Marie

Hello, hello! We’re halfway through the month, and I have yet to finish a book outside of editing/proofreading. But I’m in the middle of a few, so here are all the books I’m hoping to complete this month.

The list is a bit shorter than normal because I have at least four to proofread on top of this and one of my own to finish writing.

Kate in Waiting – Becky Albertalli

I’m absolutely loving this one. It has the potential to become my new favorite Albertalli book, which I don’t say lightly. Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda is currently my favorite contemporary of all time…

I’m reviewing this for YABC, so keep an eye out for that!

A Court of Silver Flames – Sarah J. Maas

I’m officially 50% through this one, and it’s so hard to focus on other things because I just want to keep reading. Nessian. Is. Everything.

Lady Midnight – Cassandra Clare

I’m re-reading this series via audio, and I’m a little over halfway done with this one. I just really feel like this series doesn’t get the credit it deserves. Everyone talks about TMI and TID, but I absolutely adore the Blackthorns, Emma, and Kit.

An Emotion of Great Delight – Tahereh Mafi

I haven’t started this one yet, but I got the audio through the Libro.fm influencer program and cannot wait to listen to it! For those unaware, I’m low-key obsessed with Shatter Me, so I’m excited to read more by her. I still need to read A Very Large Expanse of Sea too.

If you’re interested in audiobooks and supporting local bookstores, you should also check out Libro.fm. Here is my referral code (Disclaimer: I get a free audiobook if my code is used)

Moonscript – H.S.J. Williams

I have only barely started this one, but it sounds fantastic! It’s one I am reviewing for YABC, so keep any eye out for that soon!
