February was a very slow reading month. I was having a rough time with classes and fell into a bit of a reading slump, so I only finished two books last month. This month is already going a lot better!
Books I Read
- Obsidian Horizon – Heather Renee and Lela Grayce — I was able to beta read this final book in the Blood of the Sea trilogy, and I loved it! It wrapped up the series wonderfully. I’m so grateful to have been a beta reader for these two authors, I will definitely keep reading their books. Obsidian Horizon is set to release March 21! Full review coming soon. Reviews can be found for book 1 here and book 2 here.
- The Blood Spell – C. J. Redwine — This was one of my most anticipated reads of 2019, and it did not disappoint! It’s the fourth Ravenspire book, each of which is a different fairy tale retelling. This one is Cinderella and it’s now one of my favorite retellings I’ve read, and I’ve read a lot. You can read the full review here.
While I may not have finished many books, I did start a bunch. I think March is going to be a very successful month. I’ve actually finished three books in the last 24 hours. It’s safe to say the reading slump is over. Plus, I’m done with those classes and started a new term. A fresh start always helps everything.
