Top Ten Tuesday: Auto-Buy Indie Authors

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. This week is a freebie, so I thought I’d do top ten auto-buy indie authors.

Ironically, I went to check that I hadn’t done this before, and I had but for all authors almost two years ago exactly! So, I thought I’d change it up a bit and list just indie authors this time.

I will admit, all or most of these, I either edit/proofread for or am on their ARC team. Meaning, I get most of their books for free. HOWEVER, I think it’s important to note, that shows how much I really love their books. Because I buy them as well.

1. M. Lynn/Michelle MacQueen

This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. I adore all of her books in both genres, co-written or solo.

2. Melissa A. Craven/Ann Maree Craven

Which brings me to Melissa. These top two often write together, but I love their solo books just as much.

3. Robin D. Mahle & Elle Madison

I mean, obviously. I’m obsessed with their books. (I also love Robin’s solo books.)

4. Becky Moynihan

I have signed copies of all of her books, even the ones I haven’t read yet. They’re so pretty, and it’s a whole thing at this point.

5. Kimberly Readnour

Since the first time I started one of her books, I’ve been so hooked.

6. Audrey Grey

I believe she’s the only one on this list I’ve actually read all of. I was lucky to get on her ARC team a couple years ago, and when I got caught up with the current series at the time, I immediately went through her backlist.

7. Stacey Trombley

Another one I absolutely love and always look forward to reading more from.

8. Lela Grayce

I’m super behind on her books, but I still buy them because I know I’ll love them eventually.

9. Maggie Dallen

I’m also behind on hers, but I still buy all of her YA romances.

10. Emma Hart

Okay, I’ll admit, she’s not a complete auto-buy because there for a while she was putting out so many books I couldn’t keep up, and her backlist is so long. I do get most of the new ones though.
