WWW Wednesday: April 22, 2020

By: Stephanie Wyatt

Hey guys! It’s Wednesday, so it’s that time of the week where we share what we are currently reading. Here’s what I’ve been reading.

WWW Wednesday is a weekly reading update hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

The Three Ws are:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What did you recently finish reading?

The Loom of Sorrows by Matthew Kagle

This book tells the story of a young tour guide’s journey to discover the past. The story is told from two perspectives: one in the present and the other in the past. I loved how this story played with point of view and time. It’s a short read, so it can probably be read in a day or two.

The Lost Legends by Cait Marie

I am obsessed with this book. I was lucky enough to receive an ARC copy, and I read the book in about 4-5 days. It has a little something for everyone: action, adventure, romance, magic, and pirates. It’s a brilliant debut, and I’m so excited for the sequel. It’s currently available on Amazon.

What are you currently reading?

A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer

This book is A Beauty and The Beast retelling that was a recommendation from a friend. I love it so far, and one of the main characters has a disability. She is actually awesome and not whiny like most disabled characters tend to be written. I’m loving it so far, but I’m taking my time because I won’t be able to get the sequel for a few months.

What do you think you’ll read next?

House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas

I’ve been curious about this since it was first announced. I have been working my way through Sarah J Maas’s novels for a while now, and I love her, so I’m excited to meet these new characters and see what new adventures this series will bring.

Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare

I’ve been excited about this series for literal years. The Infernal Devices is probably my favorite Cassandra Clare trilogy so far, so The Dark Artifices will just have to wait a little bit longer to be read.

What are you reading? Any books you are anxiously waiting for? Let me know in the comments!
