Hello, hello! It’s time for another TBR Tuesday because we all know how well I stick to them… (insert eye roll and shrug here)
I’m determined to get through a bunch of these currently reading books, but with it being pride month I also want to read some books with LGBT+ representation.
First, the books I’ve already started…
1. Red, White & Royal Blue — Casey McQuiston
Within like two pages, I already knew this was going to be a new favorite. It’s enemies-to-lovers, has royalty, and is hilarious. It checks so many boxes!
For those have read it, the turkey scene killed me. I’ve never laughed so hard from a book!

2. Queen of Air and Darkness — Cassandra Clare
Yep, I still haven’t finished it. I have a really hard time with endings. I’m dragging it out because I don’t want it to be over, but I’m determined to finally finish it this month!

Now, on to the real TBR…
1. The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue — Mackenzi Lee
Alright, if you didn’t know this was going to be at the top of my list, you must be new around here. This was tied for my favorite book of 2018, and I’m obsessed.
It’s the first audiobook I ever listened to all the way through, and I loved it so much I listened to it twice before buying the Kindle edition, then a signed copy. I think I’m going to listen to the audiobook again because it’s just fantastic.

2. The Lady’s Guide to Petticoats and Piracy — Mackenzi Lee
Can’t have one without the other, eh? Besides, I wasn’t able to finish the last year because of slumps and school. I’m excited to read more about Felicity’s adventure!

3. Girls of Fire and Paper — Natasha Ngan
I’ve had this book for so long–I actually got an ARC from a friend last year and I got a hardback copy for Christmas–and I still haven’t read it. I have heard nothing but good things about it, so I’m looking forward to finally reading it.

4. History is All You Left Me — Adam Silvera
I adore Adam Silvera. I followed him on Twitter long before I actually read his books. I have yet to read this one, though, and I recently spotted the audiobook on Scribd. I’m excited for all the feels I know are coming!

5. The Foxhole Court — Nora Sakavic
I don’t know much about this book other than it’s YA contemporary with basketball and it has an LGBT theme. It was recently recommended to me, so I thought I’d give it a shot! (See what I did there?)

I really enjoyed Girls of Paper and Fire, it was such a great one with a good F/F relationship. The Ladie’s guide to Petticoat and Piracy is in my TBR for this summer.

The Gentleman’s Guide is one of my absolute favorites, and I loved what I read of The Lady’s Guide! I’ve heard nothing but good things about Girls of Paper and Fire, so I’m excited to finally get into it, too. — Cait
