TBR Tuesday: August 2026

This month, I’m primarily working through my rereads of the Shadowhunter and ACOTAR books. If you’d like to join, I’ll add the schedules I’m trying to follow below. I am a bit behind, but I’m hoping that once I get into them more, they’ll start going faster. But I have a couple other books on my TBR as well.

I got an advanced audio copy of Tempest by Victoria Aveyard, and if you’ve been here for a while, you might remember my slight obsession with her Red Queen series. I’ve been waiting years for this new book/series, following the whole journey on social media of her writing it and everything. I’m beyond excited!

Here are the books I’m hoping to read or finish:

• Clockwork Angel – Cassandra Clare (almost done)
• Clockwork Prince – Cassandra Clare
• Clockwork Princess – Cassandra Clare
• Chain of Gold – Cassandra Clare
• Chain of Iron – Cassandra Clare
• Chain of Thorns – Cassandra Clare
• Ghosts of the Shadow Market – Cassandra Clare
• City of Bones – Cassandra Clare
• City of Ashes – Cassandra Clare
• City of Glass – Cassandra Clare
• A Court of Thorns and Roses – Sarah J. Maas
• A Court of Mist and Fury – Sarah J. Maas

I know this is an insanely long list. I usually average about half this many each month. HOWEVER, all but the ACOTAR books are audiobooks, which I speed up a bit. And all but Tempest and Harvest Season are rereads. I’ve read most of the Shadowhunter books multiple times and can listen to some even faster, so I’m not too worried. I fly through them usually.
