I’m officially back and in more of a reading mood than ever! Seriously, I finished two books before lunch this morning (not the whole things!). A big reason behind all the excitement and wanting to get Functionally Fictional running again is because of the insane amount of releases coming this fall from my favorite authors! Here are just some:
- Hollywood Ending by John Green – Sept. 22
- Escape Me by Tahereh Mafi – Sept. 29
- Taking Sides by Rebecca Jenshak – Sept. 29
- Threshing Day by Rebecca Yarros – Sept. 29
- The Sixth Faction by Veronica Roth – Oct. 6
- A Court of Thorns and Roses #6 by Sarah J. Maas – Oct. 27
- The Last King of Faerie by Cassandra Clare – Nov. 3
Basically, I see little sleep in my future and a lot of emotional damage… I can’t wait!
Speaking of, I’m doing a massive reread of all the ACOTAR and Shadowhunter books leading up to the new releases. I’m starting this week with ACOTAR and Clockwork Angel, and I’ll be going back and forth, using the ebook for one and the audiobook for the other.
