The most wonderful time of year sounds great in theory, but for Kinsley Langston, it’s just a reminder of everything she’s lost.
Without any family left, she’s dragged to her college roommate’s hometown for the holidays, where she’s swept up into the warmth and love of small-town Christmas. From ice skating on the lake to cutting down a real pine tree, it’s an experience straight out of the cheesy movies she denies loving.
And then, there’s the guy.
Mason.
He’s been close friends with her roommate since they were kids, and nothing has changed. Meaning, he’s around a lot, and no one can deny the instant connection between him and Kinsley.
She’s only there for a couple weeks, but as fate and their friends continue bringing them together each year, it gets harder and harder to pretend like she’s not falling in love.
Especially when he helps her once again believe in the magic of the holidays and see that she’s not alone after all.
