Manuela’s ARC Review of “Foxfire” by Rowan Hill

By: Manuela Soares

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

TW: Lite Domestic and sexual violence. Animal Death. Lite Gore.

This was an incredible and enthralling read, it intrigued me from the start and had me burning through the pages. I love horror stories, especially when mixed with paranormal elements and suspense, and this combined them all beautifully; be sure to check the TWs before starting. This is a shorter story, less than 170 pages, which I think makes it perfect for when you want to read something but you’re not sure what.

It’s a multi-POV that works well and doesn’t distract from the storyline. I’m always a bit iffy about multi-POVs but I think they work well in stories like this as it helps to build suspense and lead readers on different tracks. The characters are well-written and surprisingly fleshed out given the short length.

This is definitely worth the read and I will for sure be checking out more of Rowan’s works.

A massive thank you to Rowan Hill and R&R Book Tours for an eARC of this to read and review.
