WWW Wednesday: December 21, 2022

By: Manuela Soares

Happy Hump Day, readers! We’ve reached the middle of another week which makes it time to catch up with what’s being read! WWW Wednesday is a weekly reading update hosted by Taking on a World of Words

The Three Ws are:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

Here’s what I’ve been picking up and putting down over the month. Reading slumps/moods are always so annoying.

The Golden Doves by Martha Hall Kelly

Still working on this one.

Anatomy by David Schwartz

Been listening to this one and I’m enjoying it! The narrators are fantastic, Mhairi Morrison and Tim Campbell’s voices are calming and soothing to listen to.

Long Live the Pumpkin Queen by Shea Ernshaw

For all those Nightmare Before Christmas fans out there, after all, was said and done, did you ever wonder where Sally came from? What her background might be? Well, wonder no more, as this story is all about Sally and inadvertently finding her beginnings. Found out about this thanks to booktube, and I’m enjoying what I’ve read so far.

The Book Eaters by Sunyi Dean

Haven’t read much of this one yet, so don’t have much to say.

I’m also reading a couple of ARC that will be coming out in the next couple of months.

What did you recently finish reading?

Beta/ARC read a couple of books, some articles, and a few short stories.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Kindred by Octavia E. Butler, Hidden Pictures by Jason Rekulak, Sundial by Catriona Ward, and What We Harvest by Ann Fraistat are next on my list.

Have you read any of these? What are you reading this week? Let me know in the comments, and have a good week!

Happy reading!
