Blankets/Pillows
I’m a big comfort person. I love snuggling under a blanket and reading a book. A blanket with someone’s favorite book character so they can pretend they are wrapped in their arms? Who wouldn’t want that?
Laptop Sleeves
I have noticed some pretty awesome fanart on laptop sleeves when searching for book merch the past few months. Most people have to carry their laptop often. Why not have your computer protected by your favorite characters?
Clothing
I love jackets, hoodies, etc. I think they are a great way to meet new book friends. I acknowledge this could just be a me thing. I always start conversations with people if they are wearing merchandise for something I like. My roommate bought me a few hoodies for Disney, and I wear them whenever I get the chance.
Plushies
I have been seeing plush toys of characters in subscription boxes. I always want them. Build-A-Bear has become a master at producing different stuffed animals for various fandoms.
Tumblers, Cups, and Mugs
I 1000% blame my most recent Disney trip for my current obsession with cups. I love cups that look like you would drink from it if you existed as a character in your favorite world. I also love tumblers with my favorite quotes. Everyone has to drink something during the day. Why not have interesting drink containers?
Your Personal Favorite Books/Series
Some of my favorite gifts have been when a friend has gifted me their favorite books or series to read that they know I haven’t read yet. It takes a lot of thought to buy a book for someone. It’s also great because you get to relive the experience all over again.
