Friday Favorites: Books That Make You Laugh

Happy Friday everyone! We have a lot of cool post similar to this one. You can find the complete list of prompts here.

Bloggers, the linky to add your post is at the bottom!

I love characters who have funny liners. Here are some books that I still quote often when I need a laugh.

City Of Bones by Cassandra Clare

Jace Wayland is one of the funniest characters I have read in a while. I love his dry wit and the jokes he elicits from the other characters.

Series: The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas

Rhys and his Inner Circle make me laugh. I have mentioned it numerous times before, but I would join them in a heartbeat.

Series: A Court Of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas

The Bane Chronicles by Cassandra Clare

Magnus Bane is one of the funniest characters in my opinion. This book tells of his adventures. It’s short stories too, so you can pick it up whenever you just need a quick laugh.

Jessica’s Guide to Dating on The Darkside by Beth Fantaskey

It’s a book about a vampire prince courting a farm girl from the United States. The tone is hilarious and some of the plot is funny too.

House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas

I would listen to these characters talk all day. They are some of the most sarcastic characters I’ve read in a while, and it’s great when you are just over the world’s general chaos.

Series: Crescent City by Sarah J. Maas

Have you read any of these? What are your favorite books that make you laugh and why? Let me know in the comments!
