Happy Friday! I’m absolutely one of those people who judge books by their covers, so I thought it’d be fun to start off the month with some of my favorite red ones, as well as just some of my favorite books that happen to have red covers.
And I may or may not have a little surprise cover reveal at the end for my readers… because I’ve been holding back this cover for two years, and I NEED to share it!

These Feathered Flames – Alexandra Overy
I am obsessed with this cover. It’s absolutely incredible. I’ve actually been friends with Alexandra on Twitter for years, and I got to see the full journey of the creation of this book, so it was exciting to see it come to life with such a beautiful cover.

Crimson Kingdom – Robin D. Mahle & Elle Madison
All of the covers for this series are gorgeous, but the red one happens to be my favorite… it happens to be my favorite book in the series too.

Grave Mercy – Robin LaFevers
I usually get really sad when books change covers, and I love/own the originals, but this redesign… it’s breathtaking. And it fits the story so well.

A Psalm of Storms and Silence – Roseanne A. Brown
THE HANDS. I mean, the whole thing is beautiful, with the intricate background, but seeing their hands subtly holding each others is what did it for me. Also, I finally started this book yesterday!

The Wrath & the Dawn – Renée Andieh
This cover has always immediately drawn my attention. It’s why I added it to my TBR years ago. It’s really unique, but it still does a good job of showing the genre and hinting at the story.

The Shadows Between Us – Tricia Levenseller
I’ll admit, I know nothing about this book. However, it’s been on my TBR for years simply because I love the cover.

Ruby Red – Kerstin Gier
I’ve always loved this cover. I really enjoy books that have these intricate, framing details.

Dragon Rising – M. Lynn
Of course I had to add this gem. It’s one of my favorite books of all time, and the details in this cover are amazing.

Red Queen – Victoria Aveyard
This special edition cover is so pretty. Especially seeing the physical copy in person. It’s gorgeous. Even the edges of the pages are red, if I recall correctly (I don’t own it, but it’s one of my favorite series).

Red Rising – Pierce Brown
This is another one I admittedly don’t know anything about, but I’ve always really loved the cover. It’s simple, but it stands out in a good way.

Darkness Within – Cait Marie
Surprise!!! I’ve been eager to share this for a really long time. It’s the second book in a dark fae duology, which is a spin-off of The Nihryst series. It’s not set to release for a while, but I had to share.
