Top Ten Tuesday used to be a weekly post hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, but was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl. “It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.” This is definitely something I can understand and want to participate in.
Here’s this weeks prompt: Books I Hope Santa Brings/Bookish Wishes (This was so popular when I did it in June that we’re doing it again for the holidays! List the top 10 books you’d love to own and include a link to your wishlist so that Santa can grant your wish. Make sure you link your wishlist to your mailing address [here’s how to do it on Amazon] or include the email address associated with your ereader in the list description so people know how to get the book to you. After you post, jump around the Linky and grant a wish or two if you’d like. You can make your identity known or be someone’s secret Santa! Please don’t feel obligated to send anything to anyone! If you would rather not include your wish list, just share the books you hope you find under your tree on Christmas morning.)
If you’ve browsed through my blog at all, you’ve probably noticed that I’m a loud and proud Jew. So since TTT doesn’t really take into account all the people who don’t celebrate Christmas, I’ve decided to take that into my own hands. This week, I’m highlighting some of the amazing books coming out in 2022 that are by Jewish authors and featuring Jewish characters that I’m looking forward to. They’re all on my Amazon wishlist (which you can find here), and I’ve included links to the Goodreads summary. Hopefully you’ll find some new books to add to your own TBR, and support these incredibly talented authors. No matter what you celebrate (or don’t celebrate), I hope you had or are having a very happy holiday or just a fabulous week.
