This week I want to go through the first books of specific series that I love. Some of the series I have not quite finished while others I have read multiple times. Let me know if there are any books you would add to this list.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling is my all time favorite first book in a series. I will forever love the Harry Potter series and am always a huge fan of it. The adventure that happens throughout the book is wonderful. Of course I have read all of the books.
Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi is an amazing read. I have not finished this series yet, which makes me excited because I have two more books to still read. I got introduced to this series through a friend, and I am so thankful I was.
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas is a series of books that I have just started and am really excited about. This one was suggested to me because I love Beauty and the Beast retellings. I cannot wait to finish this first book.
A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer is another great Beauty and the Beast retelling, and it is a wonderful series starter. I highly recommend this author for other books as well. I have not quite finished this series yet.
Fallen by Lauren Kate is an amazing series starter book. It has twists that you never expect coming. You can’t help but love certain characters throughout the book and maybe even get attached. This is another series that I am still reading, but so far I love every book I have read in it.
City of Bones by Cassandra Clare is an amazing book. This series I still need to read. I was also introduced by this from a friend. I am really glad I was because it has so much excitement in it which I love.
One series on my TBR list is known as The Circle series by Ted Dekker and it starts with Black. I cannot wait to read this series. I have loved all of the Ted Dekker books that I have read, so I am hoping this will be just as good if not better.
