WWW Wednesday: September 22, 2021

By: Manuela Soares

Happy Hump Day, readers! We’ve reached the middle of another week, which makes it time to catch up with what’s being read! WWW Wednesday is a weekly reading update hosted by Taking on a World of Words

The Three Ws are:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

Still working my way through:

The Day the World Came to Town by Jim DeFede

Nefertiti’s Heart by A.W. Exley

Curse of the Night Witch by Alex Aster

Also reading:

Beyond the Darkness by M.A. Maddock

I got an ebook copy of this from Hurn Publications, the synopsis sounds good, and I can’t wait to get into it.

The Lighthouse Witches ARC by C. J. Cooke

I got this ebook ARC through Netgalley, and so far it’s really good. I’m looking forward to what’s coming next.

The Last to See Me by M. Dressler

I found this through my library, and it sounded really good. I’m not very far into it, but I’m liking it so far.

What did you recently finish reading?

Cold Dresses by David Pelletier

For a debut novel, this was very well done. It was a relatively quick-paced book that had some good twists and turns in its mystery and a nicely wrapped up ending.

What do you think you’ll read next?

At some point in the near future, I’ll be reading Dead Silence by S.A. Barnes. I won it in a Goodreads giveaway and am now waiting for it to arrive. I’m super excited about this one, the synopsis sounds incredible and right up my alley.

Have you read any of these? What are you reading this week? Let me know in the comments, and have a good week!

Happy reading!
