I was not tagged, but I saw this done by Kristin Kraves Books and couldn’t resist. I joke that I’m the reread queen, so this should be fun!

A childhood favourite that you could read 100 times and still love

Shadowland (The Mediator #1) – Meg Cabot
Okay, not childhood per se because I was like 14 when it came out, but I didn’t read a whole lot of “novels” before age 10. It was mostly super short chapter books, picture books, etc. This is one of the earliest YA books I remember reading that I could reread now and still love. I think I read the series half a dozen times throughout high school.

A book you DNF’d but would be willing to give a second chance to

The Hobbit – J.R.R. Tolkien
I know, I know. I’ve never read any of The Lord of the Rings books either, despite it being one of my all-time favorite movie series. The Hobbit was just so hard for me to get into. I might try again via audio to see if it helps.

A newer favorite you would reread

Aurora Rising/Aurora Burning – Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff
I’m obsessed. And dying for the next book. So. Good.

A book you hated and never want to read again

The Road – Cormac McCarthy
I just can’t. I couldn’t even finish it, and I’ve tried twice.

A classic you read in school but want to try again

Fahrenheit 451 – Ray Bradbury
I didn’t technically read it in high school, but I was supposed to. I skimmed enough to BS my way through the assignments. The story fascinates me though, and it’s one I’d like to try again.

An author you would reread anything from

C.J. Redwine
The Ravenspire series is one of my favorites of all time, and I love the Defiance series. I will read/reread anything she ever writes. I think I’ve read The Shadow Queen three or four times now!

A series you want to reread for the fun of it

World Apart series – Robin D. Mahle
I just finished the last book, The Ever Falls, last month, and I already want to reread the whole series. Phenomenal!

A book you’ve read but want to listen to the audiobook

Dragon Rising/Dragon Rebellion – M. Lynn
These were my favorite books of 2020, and I really want to reread them. This time, I’m going to listen to the audio though. It’s already downloaded and ready to go!
