Mariah’s ARC Review of “The Final Chance” by Cait Marie

By: Mariah Brown

I was provided an ARC of The Final Chance by Cait Marie for an honest review. This book will be released on January 20th, 2021.

I want to start off by letting everyone know that the romance genre of this book is not the typical genre I read. This book was written in such a way that made me want to keep reading it, so even though I do not normally read these books, it was amazing! I enjoyed this book and will now consider reading more books like it. I want to thank the author, Cait Marie, for opening my eyes to a new genre. This makes reading even more fun for me.

I was able to read this book and it made me feel as though I was a part of the storyline. I was able to relate to the characters, and this is a crucial factor for me when I read. The plot is fun and enjoyable which makes it easy to read. These are factors that make reading enjoyable and interesting.

If you are looking for something that lets you feel like the main character and relate to the book, then this is the story for you. The romance in it was not cheesy like other romantic novels. It was sincere and believable because of the way it was written. There was also more to the plot than just love and relationships. The main character goes through a lot of events that are relatable and happen in everyday life. These events are what make the book interesting and captivating. There is mention of anxiety and an eating disorder in the book just as a precaution.

I give this book a 4.5/5 rating because it allowed me to be absorbed in it. I enjoyed being taken through a love story that I could relate to and felt like it could happen in life. This book is related to Cait’s other books The Last Summer and The First Holidays. I am happy to say I will be looking for more books written by Cait Marie because of her writing style and passion that she puts into her books.
