WWW Wednesday: January 6, 2021

By: Manuela Soares

Happy hump day readers! We’ve reached the middle of another week which makes it time to catch up with what’s being read! WWW Wednesday is a weekly reading update hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

The Three Ws are:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

The Lost Prince by Cait Marie

I’m stoked to have a copy of this! I loved The Lost Legends and have been so excited for this next installment.

The Deep by Alma Katsu

The summary of this sounded really good to me, and so far it’s been good. I love a good ghost story, especially when it happens on a ship, needless to say, this has me happy.

The Fifth Season by N. K. Jemsin

I’ve been listening to this thanks to my library, and I’ve been enjoying it so far. I’m four chapters in, and it’s good so far and has kept my attention and left me wanting more. I may have to check out the eBook as well, if it’s available, to read it faster.

What did you recently finish reading?

The Lost Legends by Cait Marie

With the next book, The Lost Prince, in the series recently released, I wanted to have a clear reminder of what happen in book one, so I picked this one up again.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m not sure, I’ve got several books checked out from the library so it’ll likely depend on my mood at the time. Contenders are The Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware, The Book of Lost Names by Kristin Harmer, The Wicked Deep by Shea Ernshaw, and The Huntress by Kate Quinn. Any thoughts?

Have you read any of these? What are you reading this week? Let me know in the comments, and have a good week!
