WWW Wednesday: February 19, 2020

Hello Functionally Fictional readers! How are you this week, any good reads?

I’m back for another WWW Wednesday! WWW Wednesday, for those who don’t know, is a weekly reading update hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

The Three Ws are:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Here’s what I’ve got going on this week:

What are you currently reading?

Right now I’m reading When We Were Brave by Suzanne Kelman (thank you NetGalley!), and I’m almost through with Phantom Evil by Heather Graham – I started this at the end of last year but got distracted with other books and things, so I’m finishing it up now.

What did you recently finish reading?

I finished listening to The Princess Diarist by Carrie Fisher and read by Carrie Fisher and Billie Lourd (great listen btw, definitely recommend), and I’ve finished several more chapters of my communications textbooks.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I think I’m either going to read The Lost Girls of Paris by Pam Jenoff or Madame Fourcade’s Secret War by Lynne Olson. I enjoy reading about WWI and WWII, especially when the stories are inspired by true fact and revolve around women and the actions they took during the wars.

What are you reading or wanting to read next? What books are you most excited about that are coming out soon?
