Happy Friday! Regardless of genre, I love a good romance in books. I actually tend to avoid those without any romance at all because I love it so much. Here are a few of my favorite romance-related tropes!

- Friends to enemies to friends again to lovers – It’s the ultimate trope 🤷♀️
- True enemies to lovers – I’m talking rivals, mortal enemies, absolutely hate each other, etc. (bonus points if they want to or are supposed to unalive one another)
- Brother’s best friend – I read and write so many of these because I’m obsessed
- Grumpy/sunshine – Always cute
- Fake relationship – These are fun (bonus points if they were enemies or one of them is a celebrity/billionaire)
- Arranged marriage and/or forced proximity – I just love these
- Childhood friends to lovers – I don’t always need dark and/or intense, I love a good fluffy romance too
- Redemption or second chances – The Dramione fanatic in me will forever want more of these stories, especially in fantasy
- Only one bed or only one horse – Obvi
- Unplanned or secret pregnancy – I know a lot of people don’t like these, but I adore them most of the time
