Mariah’s ARC Review of “All on the Field” by Cassie Lein and Bre Rose

By: Mariah Brown

This is the first full length story I have read by Bre Rose and Cassie Lein and boy did it make me want so much more. Of all things, it ended on a major cliffhanger, which is killing me internally because of what happened right before it ended. Let me start at the beginning.

The beginning of the story starts out with the main female character Dylan moving to a new town and deciding she is trying out for the men’s lacrosse team at her new high school. Then she finds out her old crush is the captain of the team. Eventually a new crush comes out and the story just gets crazy from there.

The heat level is definitely a 5/5, so if you don’t like heat, this may not be the book for you.

Now that all of that information is out of the way, I was super excited about all the tension that happened between the characters. I enjoyed how well Cassie and Bre wrote this story to make you crave more and not want to put the book down. I was forcing myself to put it down so I could get sleep (I only read before bed at times).

The characters flowed so well together; I couldn’t believe the chemistry. All the characters fit together in the plot even if I don’t like one of them. They all played an amazing part in the story and made everything so smooth and full of life.

I give it a 5/5 stars and highly recommend this book, which I pray is going to turn into a full series. I might cry if we don’t get more to this book.
