Mariah’s ARC Review of “The Belle and the Blackbird” by Sarah M. Cradit

By: Mariah Brown

The Book of All Things is a series of standalone fantasy romance tales set in the vibrant, epic world first introduced by USA Today Bestselling Author Sarah M. Cradit in the Kingdom of the White Sea trilogy. The Belle and the Blackbird is a forbidden love fantasy romance Snow White & Rose Red retelling, featuring Tyreste and Anastazja, characters first introduced in The Altruist and the Assassin. It is the second story in the Guardians Cycle of The Book of All Things, but can also be enjoyed as a standalone.

This book “The Belle and The Blackbird” by Sarah M. Cradit was phenomenal. I couldn’t wait to see Tyreste and Anastazja’s story unfold. It was an amazing book that went through their story in the most perfect way. Like all of Sarah’s books, it was such a fleshed out story, I didn’t want the intricacies to end as quickly as the did.

This may be considered a retelling of “Snow White” but Sarah performed that avenue in such a way that it was totally unique and not just a traditional retelling following the exact same story plot. Sarah really impressed me with this as I absolutely love variation retellings, especially when the author makes it his or her own.

This book is so amazing. And had a good balance of spice and story plot line that we have come to know and love. I truly think this is my favorite book yet in the series, but I always say that and then the next book becomes my favorite. Sarah always out does herself with everything she comes up with. I love being surprised and even more impressed when an author can outdo and amazing story.

I give this book a 5/5 rating and highly recommend everyone read this series. I don’t think you would be disappointed at all.
