The most exciting time for a reader besides release day is the cover reveal. These are a few of my most anticipated reads and their book covers.

House of Flame and Shadow by Sarah J. Maas
I have been waiting for this release for almost two years since I finished House of Sky and Breath. It’s fun to see all of the theories about what each element on the cover means. I’m excited to find out what happens next.

Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros
The cover is cool, but I’m excited to find out what happens next. It’s the sequel to Fourth Wing, which is probably my favorite book of the year so far. I also feel like the sprayed edges on the first edition has started a new trend in publishing outside of special editions. All of the new releases I have seem since Fourth Wing’s release include sprayed edges. I won’t be available to wait, so I’ll be buying the Kindle version, but the flames are still awesome.

Sword Catcher by Cassandra Clare
This is the first book in Cassandra Clare’s first series outside of the world of Shadowhunters. I’m excited to see what her new world has in store. The cover kind of reminds me of Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, only in red and gold.

Ruthless Vows by Rebecca Ross
I haven’t read Divine Rivals yet, but I noticed the first one is dark and the second one is white with a light blue wave so it makes me curious if that was intentional or not to match with the tone of the book.

A Touch of Chaos by Scarlett St. Clair
This is the last book in the Hades X Persephone Saga. This cover follows the pattern of the others in the series by being the inverse of its Hades counterpart A Game of Gods. I’m excited to see how this story ends.

Destroy The Day by Brigid Kemmerer
This is the third book in her Defy The Night series, which is a spinoff of the Cursebreaker series. I love how all of the covers reflect the time of day in the title. I’m excited to start reading these and see what adventures this series holds.
What are your anticipated books? Are you excited for any of these?
