Friday Favorites: Own Voices LGBTQIA+ Books

By: Cait Marie

Happy Friday, and happy Pride Month! This week, we’re talking about our favorite own voices LGBTQIA+ books! I was super excited to include this prompt and showcase these wonderful authors, but it ended up being more difficult than I anticipated. I have more favorite LGBTQIA+ books, but I wasn’t certain whether the authors fit the “own voice” part of the prompt. So, since my list was kind of short, I changed it a little to include LGBTQIA+ books by authors who identify as part of the community themselves.

For a full list of the Friday Favorites prompts, click here.

Bloggers, the linky to add your post is at the bottom!

  • I Kissed Shara Wheeler by Casey McQuiston
  • They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera
  • Monty from The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee
