Mariah’s Review of “Naked in Death” by J. D. Robb

By: Mariah Brown

My mom has been hounding me to read the “In Death” series by J. D. Robb for years now. I can finally say I started the series and now think I’m so crazy for not starting it sooner.

I absolutely loved this first book. It is set in the future, and it is so interesting to see how the author thinks the future would look like. I loved the description of the new laws, locations, and gadgets. It was impressive.

I have officially claimed a new book boyfriend, and his name is Roarke. I really hope you read this book to figure out why I’m head over heels for him. I loved his attention towards Eve Dallas, the main character, as well as his pull towards her, but that is all I’m saying. Read to find out more.

I really loved how all the characters in the story flowed really well with each other. Everyone was put in the plot for a reason, whether you find out why at the beginning or end of the book.

I rate this book a 5/5 stars and would recommend it to anyone who loves crime books and learning how an author interprets the future along with it.
