Friday Favorites: Books I Am Thankful For

By: Mariah Brown

This post is going to be all about books I am thankful for. This could be because they have lifted me up when I needed it or even been an inspiration.

Bloggers, the linky to add your post is at the bottom!

The first book series I want to talk about is the wonderful Harry Potter series. I have loved this series since the beginning of reading. It is what really got me started reading. I have been reading it since I was about 8. It is my go to for when I just need to get lost in a story.

The next series I want to talk about is the Cassandra Clare series of The Mortal Instruments. I haven’t finished it because I dread the day I finish it. I love the adventure and excitement the books bring. It lets me enjoy a reality that is different and exciting. When I read this, I’m able to forget about the stuff that is bothering me, which I am always thankful for.

The next book that I and thankful for got me involved in reading thrillers and it is called Thr3e by Ted Dekker. This was the first thriller with a psychological twist I ever read, and it made me fall in love with the genre. I also love these books because I love not seeing the ending coming.

The last book I want to talk about may seem childish, but it’s the original series that got me into reading when I was 6 or 7, and that is the Junie B. Jones series. Those books are the reason I am reading to this day. They were the best, and I still enjoy reminiscing on this series.

These are just a few of the books that I am thankful for. I have many other books that have helped me through darker times.

Let me know what books you are thankful for. I might just add them to my TBR list for the future and enjoy them just as much.
