Happy Friday readers and welcome back to Functionally Fictional! It’s been nearly a year since I’ve done a Friday Favorites and this week’s prompt is Favorite Places to Read.
Functionally Fictional took over the Friday Favs prompts earlier this year, and our very own Captain Cait has put together this fantastic list of Friday Favorites prompts.
Bloggers, the linky to add your post is at the bottom!
My Favorite Places to Read:
Bed: I’m far more of a night owl than an early bird, and reading at night is both entertaining, comfortable, and unwinding.
Couch: It’s a comfy setting that overlooks the street outside and is a great reading area. It’s so nice to curl up on the couch with a book, a drink, some music playing, and a cat, and just read for a bit.
Outside: There’s a great open area by my house with several big trees that are nice to lay a blanket down and sit under. With summer being so hot here in California, this is a great place to get a little sun while still being in the shade and trying to keep cool.
In the car: You can listen to audiobooks or, if you’re not driving and don’t get motion sickness, you can read a book. A great way to pass the time, especially if you’re on a bit of a long drive.
On the go: Audiobooks are a great way to keep reading on the go, and thanks to my library and the Libby app, there are hundreds of books to choose from.
What are some of your favorite places to read? Let me know in the comments and check out the other lists below!
