Mariah’s ARC Review of “Fiery Secrets” by K. M. Taylor in the Anthology “Into the Fire”

Fiery Secrets by K. M. Taylor had me hooked from the first page. It got right in to the nitty gritty of what any romance book can be about. This novella starts out with a firefighter named Kamryn Todd, and she is looking for a job back home so she can take care of her uncle. Once she gets back home, she runs into this guy, Adrien Coleman, and then things take off from there.

I truly loved how this book brought in a woman to a profession that not many women are in. It made me look at jobs a little bit differently after reading this. I also really enjoyed how relatable the story was in the beginning. The end of the book made me wonder how well we really know people when we first meet them and how dangerous the world can be.

I definitely was surprised by the twist at the end of the book. You should really read this book if you love twists. I was not expecting to find out what we did and how it all played out. I want to give a big shout out to Taylor for making this book so great and allowing us to enjoy the twists without giving anything away in the beginning.

This novella does have adult content in it, so be aware before you read it. The adult scenes where done very well and left a lot open to the mind, which made it that much more fun to read.

I definitely rate this novella a 5/5 stars. I think everyone should read it. This novella is a part of the anthology Into the Fire by Stephanie Morris and other authors.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
