Hello! We’re a week into the month, but I thought I’d share what I want to read or finish during the rest of September. I ended up reading 9 books last month, which is really good for me. I’m hoping to keep up that momentum because I’m determined to reach 100 this year. I’ve come close the last two years, but I never hit that mark before. I’m at 61 total so far, so I need to have a good few months and finish a bunch of the ones I’ve already started.
Let’s jump in!
As always, this list does not include books I’m editing or proofreading, which I have at least two to do by the end of the month, as well as my own book.

Scarlet Princess – Robin D. Mahle & Elle Madison
These two authors are taking over my life… and I’m okay with that. This is their newest release, and I received an ARC but am running behind on reviews. I love it though! I’m obsessed with this world they’ve created.

Fae’s Promise – Melissa A. Craven & M. Lynn
Speaking of authors taking over my life… I think I’ve been reading a book by one or both of these authors at all times for like two years straight now, and I’m still here for it. I’m about a third of the way through this one and having a hard time setting it down. This whole series is fantastic.

Of Thorns and Beauty – Elle Madison & Robin D. Mahle
You all know I’m a sucker for fairytale retellings, and this one has been on my TBR since before it was even publicly announced it was releasing. The audiobook recently released, so naturally I stayed up most of the last two nights listening to it. It’s so, so good.

Of Beasts and Vengeance – Elle Madison & Robin D. Mahle
I already know the first one ends with a cliffhanger, so I’m happy I don’t have to wait for the sequel! Even if it didn’t though, I’m loving this story so much I know I’d want to continue right away.

The Lost Book of the White – Cassandra Clare & Wesley Chu
I just finished re-reading Red Scrolls, so I finally get to start this one! I can’t believe it’s been out a year and I haven’t read it yet… I live and breathe for Malec and am excited for more of their adventures.

Things We Couldn’t Say – Jay Coles
I received an ARC and am eager to jump into this one. I’ll be reviewing it on YABC as soon as I’m done.

The Promised Prince – Kortney Keisel
Another one I’m reviewing for YABC. I loved the first book, The Rejected King, and am enjoying this one so far. I’m about a fourth of the way done.
What are you hoping to read this month? Let me know in the comments!
