Hello, hello! It’s been a while since I’ve done a TBR post, so I thought I would go through and name some of the biggest books and series I have yet to read. In no particular order…
Shadow and Bone – Leigh Bardugo
I started the first book years ago, but then life happened and I never went back to finish it. It’s been one of those “I really want to read this but am afraid to become obsessed because I’m too busy” series for so long, but now that it’s about to become a Netflix series, it’s time. I got the full paperback boxset last month, so no more excuses.
I’ve also had Six of Crows sitting on my shelf for like… two and a half years.
House of Earth and Blood – Sarah J. Maas
I still haven’t read this… I know.
A Heart So Fierce and Broken – Brigid Kemmerer
I absolutely love A Curse So Dark and Lonely, so I really, really need to read the other two books! I even got an ARC of this one but never got around to it… oops.
The Illuminae Files – Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
I just got the paperback for Christmas, so I am finally going to read it! People have been recommending it to me for so long.
Nevernight – Jay Kristoff
I have had this first book on my Kindle for so long… I know I will love it, but I keep putting it off for no real reason.
From Blood and Ash – Jennifer L. Armentrout
I’ve heard nothing but praise for these books and know I will love them!
The Lunar Chronicles – Marissa Meyer
Another one I started years ago. Retellings are my absolute favorite, and now that I’m getting into sci-fi more, this needs to happen.
A Deal with the Elf King – Elise Kova
The cover immediately drew me in, but then I started seeing more and more friends talk about how good it is, so it needs to happen.
Basically all of V. E. Schwab/Victoria Schwabs books
I have no excuse. I have the first book in at least three of her series… I need to just start.
Percy Jackson – Rick Riordan
I feel like I really missed out on these growing up. My goal is to have a Riordan Readathon at some point and read all the books, but I have been saying that for a year and a half, so we’ll see.
Have you read these? Am I the only one who puts off books I know I will love because I’m afraid they’ll be too consuming? Let me know below!
