WWW Wednesday: January 20, 2021

By: Stephanie Wyatt

Hey everyone, I hope your New Year is going well! I’m back for another WWW Wednesday post. I have been super distracted so I haven’t read as much as I’ve hoped so far this year, but I hope that changes soon. Here’s what I’ve been up to lately.

WWW Wednesday is a weekly reading update hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

The Three Ws are:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Here’s what’s going on in my book world:

What are you currently reading?

The Final Chance by Cait Marie

This book is set in the same universe as The Last Summer. It focuses on Beth Ann as she goes to school for the second semester of her freshman year. I’m really excited about this book because it’s helping me understand Beth Ann more as a character. I love when different books within a universe help the readers discover more about a different character in the series.

What did you recently finish reading?

The First Holidays by Cait Marie

This was a novella about the characters from The Last Summer on their first winter break from college. It was a quick read, and I was able to see how all of my favorite characters were doing. It really felt like I was meeting up with good friends after some time away.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Fae’s Deception by Melissa A. Craven and M. Lynn

I’ve been looking for a new fairy series since I finished all of the books in A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas, until mid-February, and I have heard amazing things about these authors. I’m excited to see their take on the world of the Fae.

What have you been reading? What books are you excited for in 2021? Let me know in the comments.
