Friday Favorites: Main Characters

By: Mariah Brown

Today we are going to discuss my five favorite main characters from books I have read. I know some of these books have multiple main characters, but I only want to discuss my favorite out of all of them.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling

Most people would say Harry Potter is their favorite character, which would normally be mine, but I am absolutely loving Hermione Granger for Friday Favorites. She is an amazing female role to inspire all females to not let anything stand in their way and allow their intelligence to shine.

Fallen by Lauren Kate

Luce is the the main character I want to discuss for the first book in the Fallen series by Lauren Kate. Luce isn’t quite sure why she remembers certain aspects of the people she is around and eventually breaks a veil. She is strong and pushes through everything that is put in front of her.

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

Peeta Mellark is my all time favorite character of this series. He stood by Katniss Everdeen’s side throughout the entire time. He showed what a true friend should be and allowed a lot of people who read the books to open their eyes.

Evermore by Alyson Noel

The main character in this book is Ever Bloom. She has special powers that allows her to see auras, know how someone is feeling, and know someone’s entire life by just touching them. I love how she goes from not wanting to touch anyone to slowly embracing her powers more.

I have many more favorite main characters from other books, even from these books. Please tell me some of your favorite main characters. Maybe they are from books I have never read and should!
