Hello! So, I normally try to update our currently reading list on Wednesdays, but I thought I’d try something new. I saw this done by Amanda over on Peaks and Pages; WWW Wednesday is a weekly reading update hosted by Taking on a World of Words.
The Three Ws are:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
Here’s what’s going on in my book world this week:
What are you currently reading?
I multi-read, so I’m not going to list every single book I’m reading. Otherwise we’d be here all day. I’m just going to list a couple.

A Curse So Dark and Lonely – Brigid Kemmerer
I know, I’ve been reading this FOREVER. It’s just so good and I don’t want it to end. Plus, I don’t want to have to wait for the next book! I love it so much; I’m almost done.

Unravel Me – Tahereh Mafi
I am re-reading the Shatter Me series before the release of Defy Me April 2. This is a series I fly through, so I’m trying to pace myself because I started too early. I’m listening to them via audiobook this time around.
What did you recently finish reading?
This month has been kind of all over the place. I’m doing a re-read, while trying to finish up some of the dozen books I’m in the middle of. I’ve read seven books so far this month, two novellas, two full-length books, and three romances (which I don’t ever talk about).

Bloodleaf – Crystal Smith
I received an ARC of this from HMH Publishing, and I absolutely loved it. It was one of my most anticipated reads of 2019, and it did not disappoint. You can read my full review here.

Shatter Me, Destroy Me, and Shadow Me – Tahereh Mafi
Like I said, I started my re-read too early. So, I read Shadow Me when it was released (literally kept refreshing my Kindle app at midnight until it showed up), even though I was still reading Destroy Me. This novella blew my mind to say the least. I’m still trying to figure out what is going on because WOW! I am dying for Defy Me even more than I was before.

Irresistible – Melanie Harlow
I don’t really like to talk about romance novels, but this one was adorable, so I had to mention it. It’s about a single father of three girls, whose co-worker/boss’s daughter starts helping out as a nanny. It’s cute and funny, and, of course, as steamy as you’d assume with that cover.
What do you think you’ll read next?
Oh so many books…

The Cruel Prince – Holly Black
I have had this book on my shelves for over a year, and now I have The Wicked King sitting next to it. It has been killing me, because I know I’m going to love it. I don’t have an excuse for not reading them yet, it just hasn’t happened.

Fracture Me and Ignite Me – Tahereh Mafi
I will be continuing my re-read this week, and hopefully get through Ignite Me, which I’m excited for because it’s SO good.

Four Dead Queens – Astrid Scholte
This book has been glaring at me from my shelf for almost a month. I need to read it. I’ve heard it’s fantastic, and I’m pretty certain I will agree.
What are you reading? Have you read any of these? Let me know below!
Shadow me is on my list of books to get to soon. You should definitely read The Cruel Prince next đź’śđź’śđź’ś

Shadow Me was so good. It’s pretty short, I read it in one go, which is saying something because I have the attention span of a gnat! The Cruel Prince is definitely the next physical book I’m reading.

I am hoping to pick up the Cruel Prince at some point soon – I have yet to read anything by Holly Black despite hearing lots of really positive things.

Oh, I’m so glad I’m not the only one!! I haven’t either. I’m reading The Iron Trial by her and Cassandra Clare, but I’m only about 75 pages in. It’s good so far, even though I don’t read middle grade ever haha.
